Ingredients
- Battani (Peas) – Soaked overnight – 2 cups
- Onions -4
- Tomatoes-4
- Green chillies-4
- Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
- Garam Masala-2 tbsp
- Red Chili Powder
- Coriander Powder-1 tbsp
- Tamarind Pulp - 2 tbsp
- Salt – To taste
- Oil – 2 tbsp
Method
- Cook the soaked Battani and keep aside
- In a kadai add 2 tbsp of oil, after it heats add the green chillies and ginger garlic paste.
- Add onions and fry till golden brown, Now add the tomatoes, salt, red chillie powder, garam masala, coriander power, tamrind pulp and close the kadai with lid cook for 5mins
- To the above add the cooked battani. Keep on low flame and cook for 5mins
- Shift to small katories and garish with onions, tomato, coriander and sev.
