Boppayi Koora (Raw Papaya Curry)

Ingredients 

Papaya (raw) - 1
Tamarind pulp - 2 spoons
Turmeric - pinch
Salt - to taste
Green Chilies - 2

Seasonings


Bengal-gram - 1 spoon

Black-gram- 1 spoon
Mustard - 1/2 spoon
Groundnuts- 2 spoons
Red Chilies -2
Curry leaves

Mustard Paste :


Mustard - 1 spoon

Red chilies - 2

Add water, mustard seeds and red chilies and grind . Make into paste.

Method


  1. Peel papaya and grate it
  2. Add turmeric to the grated papaya bring to a little boil and drain it.
  3. In a kadai add seasonings and fry 
  4. Add tamarind pulp and salt to taste 
  5. Squeeze the remaining water from the grated papaya and add to the turmarid pulp
  6. Mix well and cook for 5 mins
  7. Add the mustard paste and mix it.
Papaya Curry Ready !!!

Serve with hot hot rice !!!!
