Kaara Podi

Kaara Podi 


Ingredients


Black-gram dal - 1 cup

Bengal-gram dal - 1 cup
Red Chilies - 70 gm
Tamarind - lemon size
Sesame- 1/4 cup
Sugar - 1spoon 
Salt - to taste

Method

  1. Fry all the above ingredients separately without oil
  2. Grind all the ingredients without adding sesame seeds
  3. Add sesame at the end and grind once. 
  4. Podi is ready. 
This can be taken with Idly, Dosa or with steamed rice and ghee.
